The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released Notification No. 071-BOPEE of 2026. Consequent upon the declaration of the Common Entrance Test (CET) results and the publication of the Provisional Merit List, the board is officially commencing the First Round of Online Counselling for admission to the highly sought-after 12th-Based Paramedical Diploma Courses for the academic session 2026.

All candidates whose names figure in the Provisional Merit List are eligible to participate in this online preference-submission process. This window is crucial for securing your desired stream and college, so candidates must act promptly.

🎉 Huge Relief: Counselling Fee Waived Off!

In a major student-friendly move aimed at making professional medical education affordable, JKBOPEE has officially waived the counselling fee for this course. Candidates do not need to pay any online fees to submit and lock their college preferences.

Must-Know Rules Before Filling Preferences

To avoid rejection or wrong seat allocation, candidates must carefully go through these critical instructions issued by the board:

⚠️ 1. Provisional Relief for Missing Documents: If you failed to upload certain documents like your Domicile Certificate, 10th Marks Card (for D.O.B verification), or 12th Marks Card during the application process, the board is provisionally allowing you to participate in this counselling. However, you must fulfill all eligibility criteria and produce these original documents at the time of admission if selected.

⚠️ 2. Category Certificate Validity: Candidates must ensure that their Category Certificates are valid and legally sound. Under no circumstances should the certificate have an issuance date after 02-04-2026 (the original last date for form submission).

⚠️ 3. No Representations via Email/WhatsApp: JKBOPEE has explicitly stated that no complaints, queries, or representations regarding counseling will be entertained through email or WhatsApp modes.

⚠️ 4. Check Fee Structure & Seat Matrix: Candidates are strictly advised to verify the detailed fee structures directly from their targeted colleges before locks. The Seat Matrix will be uploaded on the portal one day prior to the start of choice filling.

Seat Allotment & Reservation System

The selection and allocation process follows a highly transparent, computerized merit system based on the guidelines mentioned below:

• Merit-Cum-Preference: Seats will be allocated purely based on the candidate's rank in the Provisional Merit List and the choices locked by them.
• Reservation Rules: Seats will be distributed in accordance with S.O. 176 dated 15-03-2024, read with S.O. 305 dated 31-05-2024 issued by the Social Welfare Department, UT of J&K.
• Responsibility Warning: The board will not be responsible if a seat is mistakenly allocated based on an incorrect category filled by the candidate in their initial application form.

Candidature Security & Verification

Simply filling out options does not guarantee a seat. Candidates must treat this process with utmost honesty:

• The admission process remains purely provisional until final verification by the respective colleges.

• If any information or document provided by a candidate is found to be false, fabricated, or untrue at any stage, their admission will be cancelled immediately, and strict penal action will be taken against them.
