About JKBOPEE & BSc Nursing Admissions 2026

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is the official body responsible for conducting entrance tests and admission processes for various professional undergraduate programs across government and private colleges in Jammu & Kashmir.

For the academic session 2026, thousands of eligible aspirants appeared for the B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology Entrance Examination. Following the declaration of results and merit lists, JKBOPEE successfully completed the Round 1 Counseling process, and candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 have already completed their admission formalities at their respective institutions.

JKBOPEE 2nd Round Counseling Notification Details

With the conclusion of Round 1 admissions, vacant seats remained across several government and private nursing/paramedical institutes in J&K. To fill these remaining seats, JKBOPEE has officially released the notification for the 2nd Round of Online Counseling (Upgradation / Fresh Allotment).

All eligible candidates—including those who wish to upgrade their previously allotted discipline/college, as well as those who were not allotted seats in Round 1—can now participate in this counseling round via the online portal from 3rd August to 5th August 2026.

Who is Eligible for 2nd Round Online Counseling?

• Upgradation Candidates: Candidates who participated in Round 1, got a seat, completed admission, but wish to upgrade to a higher preference college/course.
• Non-Allotted Candidates: Candidates who filled preferences in Round 1 but were not allotted any seat due to rank or preference availability.
• Fresh Participants: Eligible candidates in the merit list who could not participate in Round 1 online counseling.
• Important Note: Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but failed to complete their admission formalities within the stipulated deadline are generally ineligible as per BOPEE guidelines.

Step-by-Step Online Counseling Process

1. Visit the official website of JKBOPEE: www.jkbopee.gov.in.
2. Click on the "BSc Nursing / Paramedical 2nd Round Online Counseling 2026" link.
3. Log in using your Application Number, Password, and Date of Birth.
4. Pay the online counseling fee (if applicable for fresh candidates).
5. Fill and rearrange your choices of colleges and courses in order of priority.
6. Lock your choices before the deadline on 5th August 2026 (midnight) and take a printout of the submitted preferences for future reference.
