The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the much-awaited Seat Matrix for the 2nd Round of Online Counseling for admission into BSc Nursing, BSc Paramedical, and BSc Technology courses for the academic session 2026.

Candidates who participated in the entrance examination and are seeking admission into various Government, Semi-Government, and Private institutions across Jammu & Kashmir can now check the detailed seat allotment layout and prepare their preferences accordingly.

JKBOPEE 2nd Round Online Counseling Schedule

According to the latest official notification, the second round of counseling is being conducted strictly in Online Mode. Candidates are required to fill in their preferences/choices of colleges and courses through the official JKBOPEE portal.

Counseling Start Date: August 3, 2026 Counseling Last Date: August 5, 2026 Mode of Preference Filling: Online Portal Only

Important Note on Eligibility

All eligible candidates whose names appeared in the merit list—including those who were upgraded, non-allotted, or missed choice filling in the 1st round—are eligible to participate in this 2nd round of counseling. Make sure to lock your choices before the deadline.

Seat Availability & Vacancy Status

A substantial number of seats have remained vacant after the completion of Round 1 admissions and upgradation procedures. As per the newly published seat matrix, a maximum number of seats are currently available across:

• Government Colleges: Vacancies available due to non-joining and category upgrades.
• Semi-Government Institutions: Sufficient seats available across multiple disciplines.
• Private Institutions: A major share of seats remains open for fresh allotments.

Candidates are strongly advised to carefully analyze the seat matrix before submitting their preference order to maximize their chances of securing a seat in their desired institution.

How to Fill Online Preferences for Round 2

1. Visit the official website of JKBOPEE.
2. Click on the BSc Nursing Online Counseling / Preference Form link.
3. Log in using your Application Number and Password/DOB.
4. Review the seat matrix and enter your preferred choice of colleges and courses in order of priority.
5. Save and submit your choices before August 5, 2026. Take a printout for future reference.
