The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially commenced the Online Counseling and Preference Filling process for admission into GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery), ANM (Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery), and GNM Lateral Entry courses across various Government and Private nursing colleges in Jammu & Kashmir for the session 2026.

All candidates whose names appear in the Provisional Merit List released by the Board can now submit their preferences for colleges and courses online through the official portal.

The counseling portal is active starting 3rd August 2026 and will remain open until 5th August 2026. Candidates are strictly advised to complete their choice filling before the closing time as no extension will be granted once the portal closes.

How to Submit Online Preferences Step-by-Step

1. Click on the direct apply link provided above or visit the official website jkbopee.gov.in.
2. Click on the "GNM / ANM Online Counseling 2026" option on the homepage.
3. Log in using your Application Number, Roll Number, and Password/Date of Birth.
4. Select your preferred courses (GNM / ANM) and preferred Government/Private colleges from the list.
5. Rearrange your choices according to your priority order.
6. Save and lock your choices, pay the counseling fee (if applicable), and download the submission confirmation slip for future reference.
