The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has officially invited online applications for the Common Entrance Test (CET) for various 12th-based Paramedical Diploma Courses. These courses include specialties such as X-Ray Tech, Dental Assistant, ECG Tech, Medical/Pharma Assistant, Lab Assistant, and the Medical Record Tech (MRT) course at SKIMS.

Eligibility Criteria

1. For Paramedical Diploma Courses

• Domicile: Must be a resident of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh.

• Age Limit: Candidates must not have crossed 35 years of age as of January 1, 2026.

• Education: Must have passed 10+2 with Science subjects from a recognized board.

• Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit.

2. For Medical Record Tech (MRT) at SKIMS

• Age Limit: Between 17 to 28 years as of December 31, 2026.

• Education: Passed 10+2 in any stream.

• Minimum Marks: At least 50% for Open Merit and 40% for Reserved Categories.

Note: Candidates appearing for their 12th-grade exams in 2026 are also eligible to apply, provided they pass before the results or counseling dates are announced

Application Process & Required Documents

The application is entirely online. Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following original/self-attested documents (PDF format, 100-200 KB):

• Domicile Certificate (or ST certificate for Ladakh candidates).

• 12th Class Marks Certificate.

• Matriculation (10th) Certificate for Date of Birth.

• Valid Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable).

Examination Pattern

The Common Entrance Test will consist of one sitting lasting two hours. The question paper will contain 120 questions covering different sections as outlined in the official e-Information Brochure.

Important Advice for Candidates

• Information Brochure: Read the e-Information Brochure thoroughly before filling out the form to avoid errors.

• Correction: In case of errors in the online form, candidates can submit a physical representation at the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar before the application deadline.

• Sports Category: Candidates applying under the sports category must submit their certificates to the J&K Sports Council by April 20, 2026.
