The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially released the Provisional Selection List for the 2nd Round of Physical/Offline Counselling for admission into the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course for the academic session 2026.

Candidates who actively participated in the second round of counselling and upgradation can now check their allotment status, allotted institutions, and categories in the official merit notification. Selected candidates are advised to complete their admission formalities within the stipulated timeframe prescribed by the board to confirm their seats.

Admission Guidelines & College Reporting Procedure

Candidates whose names feature in the 2nd Round Selection List must physically visit their respective allotted government or private nursing institutions. Failure to report in person before the cut-off date will lead to immediate cancellation of the allotted seat.

Physical Verification: Visit the administrative office of the allotted college along with original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
Document Scrutiny: The college administration will verify the authenticity of all academic and category documents.
Fee Submission: Pay the prescribed admission and tuition fees through the institution's designated payment gateway or demand draft.
Medical Fitness: Complete mandatory medical fitness clearance as required by the allotted college.

List of Documents Required for GNM Admission

Ensure all certificates are intact, clear, and valid at the time of physical reporting. Bring original copies along with photocopies:

Marks Certificate of 10+2 (12th Class) examination.
Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate / 10th Class Diploma.
Domicile Certificate of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir / Ladakh.
Valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP/EWS), if applicable.
Character Certificate issued by the institution last attended or competent authority.
Discharge / Transfer / Migration Certificate.
Recent Passport-size Colored Photographs (6–8 copies).
JKBOPEE GNM Selection / Allotment Notification Copy.
Medical Fitness Certificate from a registered medical practitioner.

Important Advisory: Admission is purely provisional and remains subject to the verification of original documents by the concerned colleges. Any discrepancy in marks, eligibility, or category credentials will result in forfeiture of the seat.
