Important Information for Farmers in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K)
The announcement specifically highlights that farmers in Jammu & Kashmir can visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) starting from 14th March 2026 to withdraw their PM-KISAN amount.
Since the funds are released on the evening of the 13th, the 14th will be the first full day these funds are available for withdrawal via Aadhaar-enabled payment systems (AePS) at CSC kiosks.
How to Prepare for the Withdrawal
To ensure a smooth process at your local CSC centre, keep the following tips in mind:
Check your e-KYC Status: Make sure your PM-KISAN e-KYC is complete on the official portal. Without this, your payment might be held back.
Aadhaar Linking: Ensure your bank account is linked with your Aadhaar and is active for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Carry Identity Proof: When visiting a CSC center, carry your Aadhaar card and the mobile phone linked to your bank account for verification.
