Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has officially commenced the online counseling process for all Undergraduate (UG) degree programmes for the academic session 2026 today. Candidates who appeared in the University Entrance Test (UET) UG 2026 can now submit their preferences, lock their choices, and complete the mandatory counseling registration through the official admission portal.
The last date for online preference submission and counseling registration is August 25, 2026. Candidates are strongly advised to complete their choice locking and document verification steps well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical glitches on the university portal.
Counseling Open for All Categories & Quotas
The counseling registration process is active simultaneously for all eligible candidate streams. Whether you applied under regular state quotas or special categories, the counseling window is now universally accessible:
- Jammu & Kashmir UT Quota: Open Merit and all reserved category candidates (RBA, SC, ST, OSC, EWS, CDP, etc.) domiciled in J&K.
- NRI / NRI-Sponsored Quota: Candidates applying under sponsored and overseas seats across various faculties.
- Other States / Other Domiciles Quota: Non-J&K candidates seeking admission against open/all-India seats.
Correction Window is Also Active!
Along with choice filling, the Correction Window has also been opened on the official portal. If you made any errors during your initial application form submission—whether major (such as category, marks entry, preference, stream) or minor (such as personal details, spelling, uploaded documents)—you can now rectify and update your information before final counseling seat allotment.
