The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially notified the release of the Provisional Selection List for the First Round of NEET UG 2026 Counseling. Candidates who registered and submitted their online/offline preferences for admission into MBBS and BDS courses across various government and private medical/dental colleges in Jammu & Kashmir can now check their allocation status.
Key Update: The Provisional Merit List (PML) was previously published, followed by the choice filling and counseling verification window. Based on candidate merit ranks, category reservations, and college preferences, the Round 1 allotment list is now available for download.
JKBOPEE NEET UG 2026 Counseling Overview
Following the declaration of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2026) results, the Board initiated the state counseling process for 85% State Quota seats. After the release of the Provisional Merit List (PML) and scrutiny of submitted category certificates, candidates locked in their choices for various medical institutions including GMC Srinagar, GMC Jammu, SKIMS Soura, GMC Anantnag, GMC Baramulla, GMC Kathua, GMC Rajouri, GMC Doda, GMC Udhampur, GMC Handwara, ASCOMS, and GDC Srinagar/Jammu.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates
- Physical Reporting: Selected candidates must report to their respective allotted medical/dental colleges along with all original academic and category certificates within the stipulated deadline set by the Board.
- Document Verification: Admission remains strictly provisional subject to the verification of original documents, including the Domicile Certificate, Class 10th & 12th Marks Cards, NEET UG 2026 Scorecard, and relevant Category Certificates.
- Fee Payment: Candidates must submit the requisite admission fee at the respective college administration to confirm their seats.
- Upgradation / Round 2: Candidates who secure admission in Round 1 are eligible to participate in subsequent rounds for seat or college upgradation as per the rules.
