JOIN NOWNSP Scholarship 2026 Application Released for SC Category Students
Sajad Speaks: The Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has officially released the notification for the Pre & Post Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste (SC) Students for the academic year 2026-27. Eligible category students can now apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Available Scholarship Schemes
The notification invites applications for the following two major schemes:
- Pre Matric Scholarship: For Scheduled Caste (SC) students studying in 9th and 10th classes only.
- Post Matric Scholarship: For Scheduled Caste (SC) students studying from 11th class onwards.

Important Instructions for Applicants
- Online Application: All interested and eligible students are strongly advised to submit their applications online through the official website: www.scholarships.gov.in.
- One Time Registration (OTR): OTR is a unique number allotted to the student, which is strictly required to apply for scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal from the Academic Year 2025-26 onwards. This OTR will be valid and applicable for your entire academic career on the NSP portal.
