The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has officially concluded the First Round of Counseling for candidates seeking admission to GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) courses for the academic session 2026 across various government and private institutions in Jammu & Kashmir.
Following the completion of choice filling and counseling, the board has published the Provisional Selection List for Round 1. Candidates who actively participated in this round can now check their seat allotment status and prepare for the next step in the admission pipeline.

All candidates whose names appear in the Round 1 Selection List must strictly follow the reporting instructions to secure their seats. Failure to report within the prescribed timeframe will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
1. Reporting to Allotted Colleges
Candidates must physically visit their allotted colleges/institutions along with all original academic certificates and relevant documents to complete the admission formalities.
2. Mandatory Documents Required
Make sure to carry original copies along with at least two sets of self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
- 10th & 12th Marks Sheets (Qualifications Verification)
- Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K / Ladakh
- Category Certificate (if applicable - SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OBC/EWS)
- Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Diploma)
- Discharge / Transfer Certificate from the last attended institute
- Medical Fitness Certificate from a competent authority
- Passport-size Photographs (Recent)
Important Note: Head of Institutions are requested to thoroughly verify the validity of all original certificates before completing the admission process. If any document is found invalid, the admission will be canceled immediately.
What if You Didn't Get Allotted in Round 1?
If your name is not included in the first selection list, do not lose hope. Seats left vacant after the completion of Round 1 reporting will be filled through subsequent rounds of counseling (Round 2 / Mop-up Round).
