Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

To avoid application rejection, students and parents must fulfill the strict eligibility norms specified by the board:

Domicile: The parent/guardian must be a permanent resident or domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Active Labour Card: One of the parents must be actively registered as a worker with the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. The registration must be renewed and valid.
Work Proof: The construction worker must have completed at least 90 days of construction work in the preceding 12 months.
Student Status: The child must be a regular student with a consistent attendance record in a government-recognized school, college, or university.
Academic Clearance: The student must have passed the previous academic class/semester exams cleanly.
