Updated Exam Schedule from JKBOSE for 10th and 11th Grade Private/Bi-Annual Exams 2025
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) have just rolled out a revised timetable for the 2025 Annual (Private) and Bi-Annual exams for Classes 10th and 11th. This applies to both soft and hard zone areas in these union territories, and it's meant to help things run more smoothly with better planning. The updates are pretty straightforward: Class 11th exams will kick off in the morning at 10:00 AM, while Class 10th ones are set for the afternoon starting at 2:00 PM.
This should give everyone a bit more breathing room.
Class 11th (Higher Secondary Part-I) Timetable
These exams start on September 8, 2025, and wrap up by September 24, 2025.
Everything's in the morning shift. September 8 (Monday): Science folks have Geography; Arts students get Geography, Psychology, Music, Philosophy, or Education; Commerce has Business Studies.
September 10 (Wednesday): Physics for Science; Home Science (Elective), History, or Public Administration for Arts; Management of Resources for Home Science; Business Mathematics or Public Administration for Commerce. September 13 (Saturday): General English across all streams no exceptions
September 15 (Monday): Science covers Geology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry; Arts has Urdu, Hindi, Kashmiri, Dogri, Punjabi, or Bhoti; Family Healthcare & Prevention for Home Science; Entrepreneurship or Economics for Commerce.
September 17 (Wednesday): Chemistry for Science; Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, or Economics for Arts; again, Entrepreneurship or Economics for Commerce. September 19 (Friday): Biology (Botany & Zoology) or Statistics in Science; Political Science or Statistics in Arts; Accountancy for Commerce.
September 22 (Monday): This one's a big mix for all faculties—Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Physical Education, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Electronics, Food Technology, Travel/Tourism & Hotel Management, Home Science (Elective), or English Literature. September 24 (Wednesday): Vocational subjects like IT & ITES, Retail, Security, Healthcare, Tourism & Hospitality, Agriculture, Media & Entertainment, Beauty & Wellness, Physical Education & Sports, Telecommunication, Plumbing, Electronics & Hardware, Apparels/Made-Ups & Home Furnishing, or Power/Automotive.
Class 10th (Secondary School Exam) Timetable
For tenth graders, things run from September 8 to September 25, 2025, all in the afternoon.
September 8 (Monday): Social Science, which includes History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Disaster Management, and Road Safety Education. September 10 (Wednesday): English. September 13 (Saturday): Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Life Science).
September 15 (Monday): Urdu or Hindi.
September 17 (Wednesday): Additional or optional languages such as Arabic, Kashmiri, Dogri, Bhoti, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, or Sanskrit.
September 19 (Friday): Vocational options like Agriculture, Apparels/Made-Ups & Home Furnishing, Automotive, Beauty & Wellness, Health Care, IT & ITES, Physical Education & Sports, Plumbing, Retail, Security, Telecommunication, Media & Entertainment, Tourism & Hospitality, or Electronics & Hardware.
September 20 (Saturday): Home Science.
September 22 (Monday): Painting or Art & Drawing.
