The Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) is a distinguished program designed to assist widows of members of the military services, dependents of former Coast Guard members, and others with their education.

By offering financial aid for a range of professional and higher education programs, it promotes technical and professional education for qualified recipients.

 

Scholarship Totals 

Girls: ₹3,000 per month

Boys: ₹2,500 per month paid to the student's account each year via a direct bank transfer.

Eligibility For PMSS Scholarship:

Candidates must be widows of members of the armed forces or dependents of former military members (below officer level).

Must have received at least 60% on the prior academic test. 

Only students enrolled in professional programs like business, engineering, or medicine are eligible

Duration of the Scholarship:

In accordance with the course format, the scholarship is awarded for the full course term.

How to Apply

1) Create an account on the official website and enter correct information. 

2) Upload Necessary Documents 

Among the necessary documents are: certificate of ex-servicemen, certifications of academic achievement (10+2 or graduate marksheets).  

3) Complete the application by giving precise information about the guardian and applicant.
