This is applicable to schools in the Jammu Division's winter zones as well as the Kashmir Division. The ruling is consistent with these areas' return to the November–December academic calendar.
In order to comply with NEP 2020, which stipulates that children entering these grades must be older than three, the department emphasised how crucial it is to meet this deadline.
To guarantee a seamless and effective admissions procedure, the circular directed all educational institutions in these areas to adhere closely to the new rules. This program seeks to ensure compliance with national early childhood education requirements while expediting the admissions process.
