Jammu and Kashmir Staff Selection Commission:

An important milestone for thousands of applicants hoping to get jobs in the state police force was the December 1, 2024, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) Constable exam.

 

An essential component of the selection process, the written exam had 100 objective-style questions covering the topics of Analytical Aptitude & Ability, General Awareness/Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.

 Exam pattern's features were: 

1. General Awareness/Knowledge: With an emphasis on India and J&K, the questions addressed history, geography, current events, and socioeconomic trends. 

2. Mathematics: Time-speed-distance, percentages, ratios, and fundamental arithmetic were among the topics covered. 

3. Analytical Aptitude & Ability: This portion evaluated the ability to solve problems, reason, and make decisions.

Also, a Physical Endurance Test (PET) is part of the selection procedure.
