The JKSSB Sub Inspector Syllabus Released: 

The curriculum for the JK Police Sub Inspector test has been formally issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).

The full syllabus is now available to prospective students preparing for this test, allowing them to efficiently arrange their study approach. 

The syllabus consists of a number of elements intended to evaluate applicants thoroughly.

● Numerous cognitive skills, such as analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualisation, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgement, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, and reasoning abilities, will be tested in the General Intelligence and Reasoning section. 

Through subjects like series, coding and decoding, and syllogistic reasoning, this portion also assesses comprehension of relational concepts, mathematical reasoning, and nonverbal reasoning.

● The candidates' comprehension of their surroundings and how they relate to society will be the main emphasis of the General Awareness part. Questions of geography, history, culture, and economics will be covered, especially as they relate to India and Jammu & Kashmir. Additionally, topics will include current events, sports, general policy, and scientific research, guaranteeing a comprehensive assessment of the candidate's knowledge. 

● With a focus on whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percentages, and ratios, the Quantitative Aptitude test will assess mathematical and numerical skills. Square roots, averages, interest computations, profit and loss, discount, partnership business, mixtures, time and distance, and time and work issues are among the other subjects that will be covered. The purpose of this portion is to evaluate the candidate's number sense and successful application of mathematical ideas.

● Reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary will all be evaluated on the English Comprehension section. Sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, idiomatic expressions, and the ability to recognise grammatical faults will all be tested for candidates. 

● There will be passages in this portion where candidates must respond to questions depending on their comprehension of the content. The texts will address a variety of subjects, such as straightforward stories and current events from editorials or reports. 

Basic algebraic identities, elementary surds, and graphs of linear equations will be covered as additional mathematical topics. Basic geometric concepts such as triangles, their centres, congruence and resemblance, and the characteristics of circles, chords, tangents, and angles will all be covered in geometry class.
