Kashmir University Recruitment In Research Roles with Salaries up to ₹49,000 : Check Details
The University of Kashmir's Department of Geoinformatics has stated that qualified individuals can apply for a range of research posts funded by DST. The jobs are co-terminus with the projects and have an initial one-year duration.
The particulars are:
1.Senior Project Associate (1)
With a Pay level of : HRA + ₹49,000/-
CoE for Glacier Studies Project Ph.D. in climate science, meteorology, geology, or geoinformatics is required.
Two years of post-doctoral research experience in glaciology, glacial geomorphology, or climate modelling is preffered.
2.Associate for Project-II:
With a pay level of ₹35,000 + HRA CoE for Glacier Studies Project
The required qualification is M.Sc. in Climate Science, Meteorology, Geology, or Geoinformatics with a 60% grade.
Two years of glaciology research experience is preferred.
3.Associate for Project I:
Pay level: ₹31,000 + HRA
CoE for Glacier Studies Project
The required qualification is an M.Sc. in Climate Science, Meteorology, Geology, or Geoinformatics with a 60% grade. One year of glaciology research experience is preferred.
4. One position as a field worker or scientific administrative assistant Salary: HRA + ₹20,000
CoE for Glacier Studies Project A minimum of 60% in an M.Sc. in Geology or Geoinformatics is required for qualification. Experience working in Glaciers is preferred; individuals who identify as men will be given priority.
5.One position for a scientific administrative assistant Earnings: ₹18,000 + HRA Project: Enhancing Glaciological Capacity Qualifications: B. Tech in Electronics, Communication, or allied subjects; 3-year diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Desirable: Male candidates with soft skills will be given preference.

After the application submission shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by phone or email.
Which will be held online or in person at the National Laboratory at University of Kashmir.
