Expected Syllabus For JKP Constable Written Examination 2024: Check Details 

The JKP constable examination will be conducted soon, candidates are advised to prepare accordingly. The expected syllabus for the written test of JKP Constable includes general knowledge of UT of J&K, Arithmetical, Reasoning, analytical, abilities with other sections including English, Camputer and General science. 

1) General Knowledge With Reference to J&K UT

2) Arithmetic

3) Verbal and Non verbal Reasoning 

4) Computer

5) General English

6) General Science

The syllabus is based on JKP and JKSSB exam pattern. The distribution of Syllabus include:

1) General Knowledge (J&K)

This section will cover the topics like Current events of national and international importance, Political and Physical divison of our country, Culture - Heritage and Freedom Struggle of India, Transport and Communication, Census its functions and features, Rivers and Lakes, Weather - Climate - Crops and Means of transport, Environment- Ecology and biodiversity. 

J&K UT

History, Economy, Geography-(weather, climate, lakes, rivers, flora, fauna, crops), Heritage and Culture, Important Destinations, J&K Reorganisation Act 2019.

The second section that is

2) BASIC ARITHMETIC

Will cover the topics of Mathematics including: Percentage, Average, Time, Work and Distance, Ratio and Proportions, Problem of Age, Probability, LCM, HCF, Mensuration.

Another section consists of

3) Verbal and Non-verbal & REASONING

This section comprises of topics viz;

Number series, Letter series, Semantic Series, Speed, Distance and Time, Statements and conclusions, Logical-Reasoning, Mental Reasoning, Word Building, Numerical-Operations, Semantic Analogy, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Figural Analogy, Semantic Classification, Symbolic/ Number

-Classification, Figural Classification, Problem Solving.

The another section that is about technology includes following topics

4) COMPUTER

Basic Applications of Computer and its component.

Fundamentals of computer sciences.

Hardware & Software, Concept of Open-Source

 Input & output Devices.

 Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS-PowerPoint, PDF Internet and E-mail.

Concept of Computer Virus and Latest Anti-Virus.

Role of Information Technology in Governance.

The other important section is of language that is 

5) ENGLISH

Includes the following topics:

Tenses, jumbled sentences, Narration, Models, Articles, Comprehension,Phrases, Pronouns, Homonyms, Clauses, Synonyms and antonyms, Compound words, Idioms and phrases,

 Prepositions.

The another section is about general science 

6) SCIENCE

It includes the topics viz;

Metals, Non-metals- Physical & Chemical properties.

Various sources of energy

Nutrition and its types, Respiration, Transportation of water, food and minerals in plants.

Communicable & Non-Communicable Dieases

Vitamins- Dieases related to vitamin deficiency

 Ecosystem - Its components, Food chains and Food webs.

Environmental pollution. Ozone layer, its depletion, Green House Effect.

The candidates are advised to check the books of science, social-science, english and mathematics from class 6th to 10th for most of tipics.
