Candidates who submitted their online applications can now review their positions and details directly in the official notification.

JKBOPEE BPT Selection Criteria 2026: No Entrance Exam

For this academic session, a significant point for candidates to note is that no entrance examination was conducted for admissions into the Physiotherapy (BPT) program. Instead, JKBOPEE determined the merit and preparation of the ranking strictly based on the Class 12th qualifying examination marks (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/PCB) secured by applicants.

In cases where two or more candidates secured identical marks in their qualifying exams, standard tie-breaking criteria (such as higher marks in Biology, followed by Chemistry, Physics, and age) have been applied according to the board's official guidelines.

Candidates whose names reflect any document deficiencies (such as pending Domicile certificates, Category certificates, or 12th marks cards) must physically visit the BOPEE Office (Srinagar or Jammu) within the timeframe stipulated in the notification. Failure to submit missing documents within the given window will result in the candidate being treated under the open merit category or having their candidature cancelled for seat allotment.

What Are the Next Steps in the Admission Process?

Once the objection and deficiency resolution period concludes, the admission process will move toward the counselling round:

1. Online Choice Filling & Preference Submission: Candidates will be required to log in to the official admission portal to submit their preferences for colleges offering BPT courses.
2. Counselling Fee Payment: Along with choice submission, eligible applicants must pay the prescribed counselling fee via the online payment gateway.
3. Provisional Selection List: Based on the candidates' merit rank, category status, and choices submitted, the board will publish the formal Selection List (Seat Allotment).
4. College Reporting: Selected candidates must report to their allotted institutions with original documents to finalize their admission and pay the college tuition fees.
