Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI, Srinagar), a premier non-profit, non-political, and charitable educational organization, has officially released the official notification for its prestigious Undergraduate Scholarship Program for the academic session 2026–2027.

This financial support program is specially designed to empower meritorious but economically disadvantaged students of Kashmir who have secured admission into premier undergraduate professional degree programs like MBBS, BDS, B.Tech (Engineering), B.V.Sc, and Agriculture & Allied degree courses during the academic year 2026.

🎓 Eligible Institutions & Universities

Students must be enrolled in their 1st Semester / 1st Year (Session 2026) at any one of the following recognized institutions:

• University of Kashmir (UoK)
• Central University of Kashmir (CUK)
• Cluster University Srinagar
• National Institute of Technology (NIT Srinagar)
• SKIMS Medical College, Bemina
• All Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) of J&K
• Government Dental College (GDC), Srinagar
• Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora
• SKUAST-Kashmir (Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology)

📋 Detailed Eligibility Criteria

• Domicile: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Kashmir Province.
• Academic Admission: Must have secured fresh admission in the First Semester / First Year (2026 Batch) in any of the approved professional degree programs.
• Entrance Score: Admissions must have been secured strictly on the basis of scores obtained in national/state entrance examinations such as NEET, JEE, or UET (2026).
• Academic Track Record: The candidate must possess a consistently good academic track record.
• Family Income Ceiling: The total annual household income from all sources must not exceed INR 4,00,000/- (4 Lakhs per annum). (Note: KEI conducts stringent multi-level background verifications, so ensure exact and genuine data is submitted).

1. Entrance Scorecard / Rank Proof: Copy of All India Rank (AIR) or State Rank obtained in JEE / NEET / UET (2026).
