Government Ayurvedic Medical College Akhnoor Recruitment Notification 2026
The Office of the Principal, Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC) Akhnoor has officially released a fresh recruitment notification for the engagement of various Paramedical Staff, Technical Staff, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on an Academic Arrangement Basis. This recruitment drive aims to fill 29 vacant posts under S.O-364 dated 27-11-2020 to overcome the human resource shortfall identified by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine during its Suo Moto visitation.
The initial engagement will be for a period of one year, which is further extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time), subject to satisfactory performance and conduct, or till regular selections are made through the standard recruitment channels.

Salary and Age Criteria
The salary details, monthly remuneration, and the prescribed age limit criteria for all structural positions listed above will strictly follow the norms defined under S.O - 364 of 2020 dated 27-11-2020 issued by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
Mandatory Documents to Attach
Candidates are required to attach Self-Attested photocopies of the following credentials along with their official application form. Incomplete applications will be rejected outright:
- Marks Certificate of the minimum qualification (Degree/Diploma/Matric).
- Degree/Diploma Certificate officially issued by a recognized University, Board, or the Paramedical Council of J&K.
- Valid Registration Certificate from the concerned J&K professional board or council.
- Date of Birth (D.O.B) Certificate (Matriculation Diploma).
- Domicile Certificate of Jammu & Kashmir (UT).
- Updated Category Certificate (SC/ST/RBA/etc.) if applicable.
- Relevant Experience Certificate (wherever applicable or desirable).
- An Affidavit duly attested by a 1st Class Magistrate explicitly stating that the candidate is not currently in any active Government/Semi-Government Service.
Selection Criteria & Terms of Service
- Selection Committee: The selection process for all advertised technical, paramedical, and non-technical vacancies will be thoroughly handled by a specialized committee constituted by the Government.
- Reservation Provisions: All statutory regulations, rules, and provisions concerning the Reservation Act prevalent in the Union Territory of J&K will be applied transparently.
- No Permanent Claim: These appointments are purely under an academic arrangement and will not confer any preferential right or claim to the candidates for regular absorption or permanent regular updates against these posts.
- Termination Clause: The service of the appointee can be easily terminated before the expiration of the tenure by either side by serving a one month's advance notice or by making a payment equal to a one month's salary in lieu of notice.
