The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of 130 vacancies across various executive departments of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Eligible candidates who are domiciles of the Union Territory of J&K can submit their applications through the online portal.

Application Fee Details

Candidates are required to pay the application fee exclusively through online modes such as Net Banking, Credit, or Debit Cards:

• General / Open Merit (OM) Category: Rs. 600/-
• SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / EWS / PwBD Categories: Rs. 500/-

Age Limit Criteria (As of January 1, 2026)

• Open Merit (OM): Maximum 40 Years (Born between 01.01.1986 and 01.01.2008)
• SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / RBA / ALC/IB / EWS / OBC: Maximum 43 Years (Born between 01.01.1983 and 01.01.2008)
• Physically Challenged (PwBD): Maximum 42 Years (Born between 01.01.1984 and 01.01.2008)
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Maximum 48 Years (Born between 01.01.1978 and 01.01.2008)

Selection Scheme & Document Verification

• The exam pattern will entirely consist of multiple-choice questions (Objective Type MCQs) evaluated in the English language only.

• A standard criteria of negative marking will be applied where 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Shortlisted candidates called for Document Verification (DV) must produce their original qualification sheets, J&K Domicile Certificate, and valid category papers on or before the document scrutiny process.
