The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill various technical posts, with a significant 59 vacancies for Nursing Aid G-III in the Health and Medical Education Department (SKIMS).

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Nursing Aid (G-III) position, candidates must meet the following standards:

Education	10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
Domicile	Must be a Domicile of UT of Jammu & Kashmir
Pay Scale	Level SL-1 (₹14,800 – ₹47,100)

Age Limit (As of Jan 1, 2026)

• Open Merit (OM): 40 Years
• RBA/SC/ST/EWS/ALC/IB: 43 Years
• PwBD (Physically Challenged): 42 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: 48 Years

Note: The cut-off date for determining eligibility (both age and qualification) is March 25, 2026.

Syllabus & Selection Process

The selection is based entirely on a Written Examination (Objective Type). There is no viva or interview.

• Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Language: English only.
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Focus Areas: Basic Science (PCB), General Knowledge of J&K, and Basic Hygiene.
