The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the Provisional Selection List for the 1st round of online counselling. This is a crucial step in the NEET counselling J&K 2025 process, covering seats in government colleges and institutions across the Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh.
Released under Notification No. 100-BOPEE of 2025 dated August 18, 2025, this list follows the earlier counselling schedule outlined in Notification No. 086-BOPEE of 2025 (dated August 5, 2025) and Notice No. 048-BOPEE of 2025 (dated August 10, 2025). The online preference submission ran from August 6 to 10, with physical/online options available until August 12. Now, the JKBOPEE seat allotment 2025 for MBBS/BDS is out, and it's time for selected candidates to act fast.
The Provisional Selection List is available exclusively on the official JKBOPEE website at www.jkbopee.gov.in as Annexure-A. It includes candidates provisionally allotted seats based on merit and preferences submitted during the online counselling / 1st round. This covers both MBBS and BDS programs, ensuring a fair distribution under reservation rules like S.O. 127 of 2020, S.O. 176 of 2024, and S.O. 305 of 2024.
Reserved Seats: Special provisions include two PwD category seats (one male ALC/IB/PwD and one female OM/PwD) and one EWS female seat in MBBS, as directed by the Supreme Court and J&K and Ladakh High Court.

What Selected Candidates Need to Do Next
If your name is on the BOPEE provisional list, congratulations—but don't delay! You must report to your allotted college/institution by August 22, 2025, before 4:00 p.m. to complete admission formalities. Bring these original documents:
1. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation).
2. 10+2 Marks Card.
3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Valid Category Certificate (if applicable, issued before July 30, 2025).
5. Valid Poor & Backward Category Certificate (on prescribed format, for relevant selections).
6. NEET Score Card 2025.
7. Compulsory Service Bond (for Ladakh candidates).
8. Any additional documents required by the college.
Colleges will verify all documents, especially category certificates, as no prior checks have been done. For PwD candidates selected in open merit or reserved categories, institutions will refer cases to a special Medical Board for assessment.
To help everyone meet the deadline, admission counters will stay open even on holidays. Heads of institutions must report any shortfalls to JKBOPEE via email (coejakbopee@gmail.com or helpdeskjakbopee@gmail.com) by 5:00 p.m. on August 22, with a signed hard copy.
Important Notes for MBBS Admission J&K Ladakh 2025
Provisional Nature: This first round seat allotment is temporary. If any documents are found false or fabricated, admission will be cancelled, and action taken.
Compulsory Joining: Allotted candidates must join by the deadline. You can still opt for upgradation in the second round by submitting fresh preferences if interested.
J&K BDS Seat Allotment: The list includes BDS seats too, so check Annexure-A carefully.
