The SKUAST-K UG application deadline is fast approaching. According to recent updates, the last date to apply is May 10, 2025. This is your chance to secure a spot in one of the most sought-after agricultural universities in India.

SKUAST-K offers a variety of UG programs, including:

• B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture

• B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture

• B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry

• B.V.Sc. & Animal Husbandry (Admission based on NEET UG 2025 scores)

• B.F.Sc. (Fisheries Science)

• B.Tech Biotechnology

New programs like B.Sc. (Hons) Economics and Data Sciences and B.Tech AI & ML in Agriculture (based on JEE scores) are also available, reflecting SKUAST-K’s commitment to emerging fields.

Eligibility Criteria for SKUAST-K UG programs:

• Academic Qualifications: A 10+2 certificate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Mathematics (PCM) and English, securing at least 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) from a recognized board.

• Entrance Exam: Admission to most UG programs (except B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.Tech programs) is based on the University Entrance Test (UET) conducted by SKUAST-K. For B.V.Sc. & A.H., NEET UG 2025 scores are mandatory, while B.Tech programs require JEE scores.

• Age Limit: Candidates should generally be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025, though specific requirements may vary by program.

Application Process

• Visit the Official Portal skuastkashmir.co.in or the admission portal at osrskuast.net.

• Create an account using your name, email, and contact details.

• Fill the Application Form, Provide personal, educational, and entrance exam details (UET, NEET, or JEE, as applicable).

• Submit scanned copies of your 10+2 certificate, passport-size photo, signature, and category certificate (if applicable).

• The fee is approximately INR 1,500 for UG courses (INR 1,000 for reserved categories). 

• Submit and Save the PDF for future reference.

Important Dates

• Application Start Date: February 2025 (already underway)

• Last Date to Apply: May 10, 2025 (extended deadline)

• UET Exam Date: Tentatively late May 2025.

• Result Announcement: Expected in June 2025

• Counseling: June–July 2025
