Kashmir Announces New School Hours

For all schools in the Kashmir division, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has modified the school schedule. The revised schedule will take effect on April 1, 2024.  

 NewTiming:

 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for Srinagar City schools  

 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for schools outside of Srinagar city  

 All public and private schools will use these times.  

 DSEK has instructed all school administrators to adhere to these new schedules. There will be consequences for any school that violates the guidelines.  

 The purpose of this decision is to provide a comfortable and easy timetable for both teachers and pupils.
