The University of Jammu is hiring for seven positions: draughtsman, scientific officer, liaison officer, museum/art gallery officer, patent officer, law officer, and security officer.
The positions, which pay between ₹29,200 and ₹1,66,700, are available on multiple campuses.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 14, 2025, and the application portal opens on December 24, 2024.
Candidates must confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements before as each role has its own special eligibility conditions.
Eligibility Criteria for each post:
1. A policeman A minimum of 50% in a three-year or five-year integrated law program is required for graduation.
Experience: At least three years of experience working as a law officer or practicing advocate in a university, public sector, or organisation.
2. Officer of Patents: Law graduation with at least 50% of the possible points.
Experience: three years following Bar Council enrolment, ideally in the field of intellectual property (IP) law.
3. Officer of the Museum/Art Gallery: a minimum of 55% in a Master of Museology degree.
Experience: At least two years of experience working at an art gallery or museum.
4. USIC Scientific Officer M.E. or M.Tech. in mechanical engineering or instrumentation is required.
Experience: three years of industry-related professional experience.
Candidates with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline will be given preference.
5. Qualifications for Security Officers: Completion of a degree and previous experience as a Captain or Dy. S.P. level former police officer.
6. Officer of Liaison MA/M.Ed. or its equivalent is required.
Experience: one to two years of experience in the field.
7. The draughtsman A two-year diploma in draughtsmanship from an accredited institution is required.
Age limit:
Maximum Age: All candidates must be at least eighteen years old (as of January 1, 2024), 40 is the maximum age for general candidates.

Selection Process
Depending on the position being applied for, the Jammu University Recruitment 2024 selection procedure will involve an interview, a skill exam, and/or a screening test.
