Exam Pattern for SSC GD in 2025:
There will be two phases of the SSC GD exam:
Phase One: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Mode of Test: Objective Type
• Length: 60 minutes
• Quantity of Questions: 100
• Marking Scheme: One mark is awarded for each right response, and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong response.
• Sections:
• General Awareness
• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• Mathematics
• English/Hindi

Phase 2: Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Those candidates who pass the CBT will take the PET.
It will include the following activities:
• Competition: 5 km for men and 1.6 km for women;
• Long and high jumps;
• shot put;
Physical Standard Test (PST): The purpose of the PST is to measure the candidates' weight, height, and chest.
Selection Procedure for SSC GD in 2025
The following steps are part of the SSC GD Constable recruitment 2025 selection process:
• Computer-Based Examination (CBT): The results of the CBT will determine which candidates make the short list. Only applicants who pass the CBT will be able to take the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Standard Test (PST).
• Medical test: Candidates who pass the PET/PST will have to go through a medical test.
• Document Verification: The candidates' performance throughout the entire screening process will determine the ultimate choice.
