TERRITORIAL ARMY RECRUITMENT OF 160 INFANTRY

Battalion (TERRITORIAL ARMY) Jammu and Kashmir rifles will be organizing recruitment rally at Advance Landing Ground Panzgam, from 08 Nov 2024 to 20 Nov 2024. Eligible candidates who wish to join the Territorial Army may report for screening as per given schedule. Document checking, screening and medical test of candidate screened in the rally will be held at the venue.

Eligibility Criteria.

Age limit:

18 to 42 years as on date of recruitment.

Educational Qualification:-

Soldier (General Duty) Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.

NO stipulation in aggregate percentage for Soldier Tradesmen (Al Tradesman except House Keeper & Mess Keeper) aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.

Soldier Tradesumen (House Keeper Mess (1) Class 8th pass. (i) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.

Person with tattoos, visible in physical training dress, are not eligible.

Physical Fitness Test 

Height 160 Cms(157 cm in case of Ladakhis).

Weight Proportionate to height & age as per Army Medical Standard.

Chest 82 cms (77 cms unexpanded)

Physical Endurance Test

Physical fitness test of 1 Mile Run, Push ups, Zigzag Balance & 9 feet ditch will be conducted. 

Selection Process 

1. Medical inspection. 

Should be medically fit.

Shortlisted candidates shall undergo medical inspection.

2. Trade Test.

Trade test will be conducted for all tradesmen & clerks.

3. Written Examination

Candidates who qualify in the physical and medical examination will undergo written examination, The Question Paper of which would be bilingual (English & Hindi)

4.Screening/Aptitude Test. Screening/Aptitude Test will be conducted separately for Soldier General Duty.

Note:

The authorities conducting the rally will not be responsible for any accident/injuries to the candidates during recruitment rally. Drugs test shall beconducted on the candidates who will qualify the written exam and appearing for screening/Aptitude test.
