JKSSB Released 4002 Posts, 10th Pass Eligible: Check Complete Details 

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released an important notice inviting online applications regarding the recruitment process for the posts of Constables in the Home Department. The selection board that is JKSSB has received an indent from home department for filling up 4002 vacancies under direct recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria:

For different posts different qualifications are required.

For the post of constable (armed/IRP), constable (SDRF), Constable executive police matriculation degree (10th) is needed.

For the post of constable (telecommunication) 10+2 with Science is needed.

For the post of Constable (photographer) 10+2 with Science, a 6 month computer course and 2 years of experience in photography and videography is must.

Physical Standard/Endurance tests:

PST for males:

Minimum height must be 5.6 feet

Chest: 32 inches

For females:

Minimum height must be 5.2 feet.

PET for males:

Long race of 1600 mtrs in 6.5 minutes

And 20 pushups.

For females:

Long race of 1000 mtrs in 6.5 minutes

And shot put(4kgs) 14 feet in three attempts.

The selection process comprises of three stages:

I) Written test

II) PST

III) PET
