NSP Scholarship 2024, Application Process, Dates, Documents: Check Details Here

The National Scholarship Portal was established by the Government of India for providing Scholarships to students of India. This portal is used to apply, process, verify, and sanction these Scholarships awarded by Govt of India. Its objective is to ensure the disbursement of scholarships, and reject duplication process to foster the educational environment.

Important dates:

The process of applying online has started from 01-07-2024 and the last date keeps varying but for now it has been mentioned 31-10-2024.

Different Scholarships under NSP:

The NSP offers various scholarships to the students under different categories, which include Central schemes provided by Central Govt of india. State schemes- provided by state govt. UGC/AICTE schemes provided by UGC and AICTE.

The scholarships are available for almost all the students belonging to the econimically weaker section of society.

 For the students of Class 1-10 the Pre-Matric scholarships have been devised.

For the students from class 11 to postgraduate level Post- Matric scholarships are provided to fund their higher educations.

For the Meritorious students Merit-Cum-Means scholarships are provided, for this particular scholarship students have to appear in an examination conducted by authorities.

How to apply:

1) Go to official website 

2) Click on students option.

3) Click on the log in option and do the needful.

4) Click on register yourself and provide Authentic details and complete the registration.

5) After successful registration click on Apply for Scholarship. Select the scholarship and fill all the details correctly and upload essential documents.

Documents required:

For differnt scholarships under NSP different documents are required however, the common documents in each scholarship include:

a) Markssheet of previous class

b) Aadhaar card.

c) Domicile certiicate.

d) Bank passbook.

e) Income certificate

f) Bonafide certificate
