The Jammu and Kashmir Police recently posted vacancies for Constable posts in the department. The department will conduct offline computer-based tests (CBT), Physical Endurance test (PET), and Physical Standard Test (PST). Check the syllabus, Exam pattern, and study material for the written examination of JKP constable.

Exam Pattern;

There will be a total of 100 questions carrying 1 mark each for 2 hours.

For the PST test, the male's minimum height should be 5.6 ft except for Ladakhi and Gorkha people (5.4 ft), and the chest should be 33.5 cm.

For the PST test female's minimum height should be 5.2 ft and for Ladakhi and Gorkha females (5.0 ft).

For the PET test, males should be able to run a long race of 1600 meters in 6 minutes and perform 20 push-ups.

For the PET test, females should be able to run a long race of 1000 meters in 6 minutes and perform shot-puts of 141.5 ft.

Study Material 

For the different topics candidates can go through the middle class books of Mathematics, History, Geography, Economics, Political science, Civics and Basic Grammar.

Other than these any easy to understand Verbal and Non verbal Reasoning, Know your state Jammu and Kashmir, General knowledge with Current affairs, Environmental science etc are recommended.
