GMC Srinagar is inviting applications for the post of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. These posts are released on an academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020, dated 27-11-2020. The selection of candidates for these posts will be made under the PSC/DPC rules.

For the post of Professor

For the post of Associate Professor

Age limit

The maximum age of applicants must not exceed 67 years on the date of application submission.

The selected candidates will have to enter into an agreement that they will not leave the department before the one year completion of contract.

Required Documents:

1. D.O.B Certificate.

2. Domicile Certificate.

3. MBBS Degree Certificate with each year Marks Card and National or State medical council registration certificate.

4. PG Certificate.

5. Teaching experience certificate. (Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023).

6. Research Publications (Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023).

7. Participation proof with oral presentation (Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023).

8. Participation Proof with poster presentation of papers credit (Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023).

9. Proof of a book or chapter (Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023).

11. For the post of Assistant Professor candidates must have Proof of having secured Distinction in any subject in MBBS.

12. Qualification Certificate (DM/MCH/DNB/Ph.D.)

13. Applicants must not be engaged in any Govt. Service (Specimen duly attested from the 1st Class Judicial Magistrate).

15. A photograph.

16. A DD of ₹500 in favor of “Students Welfare Fund” payable at J&K Bank, Government Medical College, Srinagar.
