The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education is organising Essay Writing Competition On various themes of Adolescence Education Program (AEP) and School Health and KDNo: F(Acad-C/B/HWA/24 |524445 Wellness Program (SHWP) under AYUSHMAN BHARAT SCheme of

Gol for students of Class 6 to 12" through e-mode. The students from. Govt./Private Schools (affiliated to JKBOSE) can participate in this, Essay Writing Competition by sending their entry duly signed by HOI from their institutions' official e-mail-id at aepikbose @gmail.com by or before 26th of March, 2024. Name ot the Event: Essay Writing Competition on various AEP & SHWP themes.

Target Group:-Competition will be conducted for students from Classes 6h to 12h in

two categories: i. Middle stage, 6" to 8" class students

ii. Secondary stage, 9" to 12" class students

Themes of Essay Writing Competition:

1. Growing up healthy

2. Emotional Well-being and Mental Health

3. Interpersonal Relationships

4. Value and Responsible Citizenship

5. Nutrition, Health and Sanitation

6. Gender Equality

7. Prevention and Management of Substance Misuse

8. Promotion of Health Life Style

10. Promotion of Safe Use of Internet, Gadgets and Media

11. Safety and Security against Violence and Injuries.

Mode of Conduct: e-mode.

Maximum words of Essay: One thousand words.

Language :- English

Timeline:- Last date of submission of entry -26 March, 2024.

Guidelines for Participation:

1. The participants studying in Govt. as well as Private Schools (affiliated to JKBOSE) can

participate through e-mode i.e. by sending essay on one of the above mentioned themes

either in pdf format or word document at email id aepikbose@gmail.comn

2. The students studying in Classes 6" to 8" can participate in Middle Stage category where

as students in classes 9 to 12 can participate in Secondary Stage Category. 3. The participants will share the essay along with their details through their Institutions

official school email-id at aepjkbose.@gmail.com by or before 26th of March,2024.

4. In order to maintain the secrecy and sanctity of the competition, the details of the

students i.e. Name, Parentage, Contact no., School name, Bank Ac No., Bank Branch

name, IFSC etc. is to be written on front page duly signed by HOI. Further, first page of

student's bank passbook copy also be attached with the entry.

5. No one is allowed to write anything inside the essay to reveal any identity otherwise

entry will be cancelled.

6. The final selected entries in two categories will be awarded cash prize as mentioned

below:
