CUET UG 2023 Some Changes From This Year Some Important Changes 

CUET 2023: Applications for CUET 2023 exam are going on for admission to undergraduate courses in Central Universities across the country. On the basis of CUET score, students will get admission in the university and course of their choice. This is the second edition of the exam and minor changes have been made in the pattern this year keeping in mind the interests of the students. UGC Chairman Jagdish M Kumar gave information on this topic in a special conversation with Aaj Tak.

Students will get more choice

The UGC chairman said, 'We started CUET last year. This year the exam is being conducted for the second time. We have decided this year that the pattern will be same as last year but this time we are giving more freedom and more choice to the kids. Last year children could give exam in 9 subjects, this year children can choose 10 papers

Exam will be completed in less time

He said, 'This year we are conducting the exam in fewer days. Last year the exam was conducted in more than 1 month while this time the exam is being conducted from 21st May to 31st May. Every day the exam will be held in 3 sessions. It will be beneficial that if today one exam is held in English and tomorrow also there will be English exam, then the difference between the two will be very less. In such a situation, the students will not be harmed in the normalization of marks.
